Details of the South Australian adventure are:

Proposed period: 9 days
Tour Cost per person: $2220 (Includes SA Fuel Eco-tax of $25 per person)

Travel Insurance: Basic Domestic Travel Insurance is included (Age surcharges (over 70’s) and medical levies may or may not be applied.

The main tour inclusions are as follows:

  • Includes basic Travel Insurance, GST charges, Entry fees, and Airport Taxes.
  • Includes all standard room accommodation in Adelaide City and on Kangaroo Island.
  • Includes outside twin cabin accommodation on the PS Murray Princess
  • Includes all breakfasts at accommodation venues.
  • Includes most lunches and dinners (except for free day periods).
  • Includes some Morning & Afternoon Tea bonuses.
  • Includes return economy airfares Brisbane-Adelaide-Brisbane.
  • Includes all special bus transfer fees to and from venues (our private air-conditioned buses).
  • Includes Adelaide-Kangaroo Island-Adelaide Ferry transfers and fees.
  • Includes a 3-night/4-day relaxing PS Murray River Princess paddle-wheeler Wetlands cruise.
  • Includes special on-board/off board Murray River activities, Murray River Cup, native craft making (including chocolate making from native fruit), small boat wildlife excursions, other cultural heritage visits, and the Captain’s pre-drinks and Dinner Dance.
  • Includes a fabulous full day tour of Hahndorf German Village, the German Tavern (beer hall), Gumeracha Wooden Toy factory, Adelaide Hills, Torren’s Gorge, Mt. Lofty Ranges, two Barossa Valley vineyards (with wine tastings), Chateau Yaldara’s fabulous collection of French Lois antiques in their Baroque Chateau, and a specially arranged visit to The Cedars for a guided tour of the house and studio of the famous Australian landscape artist Sir Hans Heysen.
  • Includes a spectacular Kangaroo Island 2-day Tour that includes a walk amongst Sea Lions at Seal Bay, Clifford’s Honey Farm, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Pelican colony feeding, Kelly Hill Caves, Parndana Wildlife Park, Flinders Chase National Park, and other famous rock and cliff formations.
  • Includes a half day tour of Adelaide City’s scenic & historic attractions/parks/gardens including Haigh’s famous Chocolate Factory.
  • Includes several free time periods to relax and explore Adelaide during the day and evening. It is hoped to arrange a social evening with the South Australian BP Guild members also.
