Meeting Arrangements:
Note:
Always check with the Secretary (07) 54825151 should there be a change of
date, time and place.
Moonga Guild members will be advised direct through the Guild newsletter or direct
contact.
1. Guild meetings are
normally held on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
2. Locations of meetings sometimes change each month due to special
activities check for updates.
3. Meetings normally start at 10am with Morning Tea (self-supplied).
4. Monthly meetings normally begin at 10.30am conclude between
11.30am and Noon.
5. Depending on the programme, lunch (self-supplied) is held from Noon
to 1pm.
6. A special activity is then held from 1pm to 2.30pm.
7. These arrangements sometimes change if meetings are held outside the
Gympie City region.

THE ESK DISTRICT GIRL GUIDES will present their
2nd Biennial Quilt, Doll and Craft Show in the Lyceum Hall Highland Street, Esk on Friday
9th March 2007 from 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10th March 2007 from 9am to 4pm. ADMISSION
$5.00. Children under 12 years are free if accompanied by an adult.
STATE COUNTRY MEETING; 1st April 2007 at
Rangeville Scout Hut, Toowoomba. BYO: WATER. Further information to follow.
STATE GUILD GETAWAY 2007 - Caloundra Caravan
Park, Golden Beach between 4-7th May. Cabins are available that take 4-6 people. Cost is
$94 for 2 people and $8 for each extra person. Vans and husbands very welcome. The Toll

THE BRISBANE GANG SHOW SEASON will run from 29th
June to 7th July 2007 further details to come. No word on any country performance
at this stage.
THE SCOUT & GUIDE SPIRIT FLAME PROJECT 2007
will commence on the evening of July 31 2007 to commemorate 100 years of Scouting. A
campfire will be lit at the place of the very first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island using a
flame that will be lit at the grave of Lord Robert Baden-Powell in Nyeri, Kenya on 22
February 2007 and the torch carrying the flame will travel to its destination by human
power alone. The route will be Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Egypt, Italy, France, Belgium, and
United Kingdom. At the recent Australian Baden-Powells Guildmasters meeting,
it was decided that all Baden-Powell Guild members could assist their own State with its
celebrations. Both the Guide and Scout Associations are planning Brownsea
camps in Queensland during 2007 and we can assist at the local level.
MOONGAS GUILD TOUR 2007 The details
for their latest annual group tour in September 2007 are shown on this website. The tour
group is open to all Guild members from any source and is not restricted to the Moonga
Guild. The proposed dates are 7th to 15th September incorporating 9 days. Applications are
now being accepted for this tour itinerary.
KARAWA TASMANIAN TRIP The Karawa Guild is
also proposing a trip for September or October 2007 No details are available at
this time.
ROVER AND RANGER REUNION 2007 A grand
reunion is planned and is open to all former Guide and Scout Association members. The date
is Saturday 20th October and will be held at the Walter Burnett Hall (Coffee Club is the
new name), RNA, Gregory Terrace, Brisbane. The official welcome is from 5.30pm; nibbles
and drinks from 6pm; dinner is at 7pm. The cost is to be advised. For those who do not
want a late night, come along at 5.30pm and stay to enjoy nibbles and a drink. There is
accommodation close by. The names, addresses and emails of all interested members are now
